Maggie kidded while I was NOT watching on the camera yesterday. What was I thinking?? Letting one kid without me being there?? I have been expecting Maggie to kid for the last 3 weeks. YEESCH...a watched pot never boils and she definitely was being watched. Last year I had to give her a shot of Calcium in the spine to get things moving and to help her out. I made the mistake of letting her get WAY to fat and she suffered for it. While last year she only had twins..one was exceptionally large and the other one she rejected. I did't know what to expect with her this year and she has been doing so much laying down I was starting to worry about doing another calcium shot to help her. She took care of business by herself and had them gathered and fed and warm under a light all by herself. ALSO...she took them ALL!!! What a good Momma!! ....plus...they are extremely cute and each one a horse of a different color...now where does that come from??
They are SO cute!! My kids are begging me to let them have a few goats, but I don't know anything about them. What kind are these?

All my does are fat, Mike always feeds them too much. Somebody said that large "vats" on goats was good for digestion.
