First baby of the summer..


and he was a Baby alright...note the yellow cord...well thats an extension cord.

Funny I even saw him, but he was sunning on the entry of the baby chicks house. Just 1 button on his tail, but I don't allow them to grow around the house....so he's history!

    OMG! I hope I never find a rattlesnake or any snake by my coop. A rattler would be history here on my place as well. Just looking at the picture made my heart race.

    A rattlesnake that close!!! Um, scary is what I call that! Too close for comfort on that one.

    I hate those things! I have not killed one here and I am thankful there seems not to be an abundance of them! I have killed 6 chicken snakes in my coop so far this year though!
